How Insight PT and Coaching Came to Be
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals with a wide variety of pain conditions on the path to improving their bodily experience and quality of life. Hearing their stories has helped me understand the feelings and needs of people suffering with pain. The needs that often go unmet in our current healthcare system. I’ve learned how to listen, support, and encourage with more compassion while offering folks a better understanding of their pain condition and what they can do to improve their situation. I don’t presume to have all the answers or to be the best at what I do, but there are many powerful insights that I’d like to now share with more people. My hope is that the education, training, and experience I have acquired will serve you, too.
For a long time I’ve wanted a place where I can openly share the knowledge, tools, and strategies that have helped so many patients. I have also wanted a space to explore and develop new ways of serving those who endure chronic pain and other chronic health conditions. That’s how Insight PT and Coaching came to be. We are here to help you reduce your pain and suffering while restoring function and quality in your life, and I believe the sort of approach we’re offering is uncommon and needed in modern healthcare. There’s a paradigm for understanding and treating health issues, such as chronic pain, that I’ve come to accept. This paradigm beautifully takes into account the whole person in developing the plan of care. Feeling and functioning better in this model incorporates insights about the comprehensive nature of our health conditions and how we can be more powerful agents on our own behalf. We aim to share these insights here so you can learn to take better care of your body, your health, and yourself.
I invite you to consider exploring this website and entertaining the possibility there is more you can do to improve your health and well-being than you have been led to believe. I hope you find the offerings here interesting and useful on your healing journey.
Take care, and may you be well.
